​Part of why we started Slim and Trim Construction is because of our desire for a better community and we know that good, honest business plays an integral part in seeing our community become the best it can be. But we know it doesn’t stop there, no in fact that is just one small part of bettering the world we live in. About the same time he started Slim and Trim, Thomas also started volunteering as a “Big” with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities (BBBS). Even during our busiest times of the season Thomas manages to spend time with his Little Brother. Thomas has greatly enjoyed his time with BBBS and his Little Brother and as a result he decided to partner with BBBS to help increase their influence in the Twin Cities area.

Thomas believes in the work BBBS is doing and has personal experience working with them. He has seen the difference they make in children’s lives as well as the lives of the volunteers. He has now set up a sponsorship program between BBBS and Slim and Trim. Here at Slim and Trim Construction we now donate $1 for every roof inspection we do. We also take one month a year to donate $100 for each roof we build. On top of that we offer a $50 donation match with each of our customers. This is all in addition to our annual giving to BBBS.
